“Shahzada provided a clear and detailed plan, meticulously documented all changes, and executed the tracking setup with precision.”

Rejuvica Health sells liquid herbal supplements through one Shopify store, with a separate site and GA4 property for each brand. In August 2024, Shopify was retiring the checkout scripts its tracking ran on.

Many brands, one checkout, and a deadline

Rejuvica Health sells liquid herbal supplements for the liver, kidneys, lungs, nails and more. Review and report sites send Google and Bing traffic to a site for each brand, and every brand checks out in the same Shopify store.

Each brand has its own GA4 property. Google Tag Manager picks the right one from a brand ID.

Rejuvica's tracking worked, but it lived in the checkout scripts section, and Shopify was removing that. Michael Quinn wanted it moved to Shopify's new pixels before the 14 August 2024 deadline.

Shahzada, now Crisper's founder, also found an old Universal Analytics property still in place, several GA4 properties, and page views firing twice.

Moved on deadline day, then a best seller went quiet

On 14 August 2024 he moved the checkout to Shopify's Checkout Extensibility, upgraded the Thank you and Order status pages, and added a Shopify customer pixel that feeds Tag Manager. The next day he removed the old Universal Analytics property, fixed a TikTok trigger and removed a duplicate TikTok tag.

On 19 August Michael confirmed that Google Ads and Google Shopping were both showing sales. But Better Nail, Rejuvica's best-selling product, had shown no sales in GA4 since the 14th.

The new code read the brand from the first word of each product name, and some brand names have more than one word. Shahzada switched it to Rejuvica's own brand-ID cookie, which Michael had built for the old checkout. By 26 August, GA4 was recording Better Nail sales again.

Upwork review, 2024

“I had the pleasure of working with Shahzada on resolving some complex Shopify, Google Tag Manager, and Google Analytics tracking issues, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the outcome.”

Server-side, then Bing

From late August he added a server container on a subdomain of Rejuvica's own site. GA4 went through it from 30 August, and TikTok's Events API was added in early September.

He handed over on 10 September 2024 with a document for the advertisers and change logs for each container version.

In October 2024 Rejuvica came back: Bing Shopping showed no conversions. He updated the purchase goal with enhanced conversions and the right event action, and by 22 November Bing was tracking conversions.

Facts come from the Upwork project threads and the client's public review. A tracking project by Shahzada Ali Hassan, Crisper's founder.
