MCP setupThe short answer
Add Crisper to Claude Code, Codex or Cursor with one command, click Allow when Crisper sign-in opens, and ask the agent to set up your website. The agent adds the site and opens the billing and ad-platform pages; you approve checkout and paste your Meta or Google IDs and tokens into the integration page in your own browser. The agent never sees card details or ad-platform tokens. Your website still needs its normal tracking installation, and the agent checks setup status until every step is done. Sign-in and tool discovery were tested with Claude Code, Codex and the Cursor CLI on October 8, 2026, and retested with Codex on October 11, 2026.
What does the agent set up?
The agent does the setup, and you keep the approvals. MCP is the connection that lets an AI agent call Crisper's tools. Once connected, the agent can do the parts of setup that don't need your signature.
Your agent can:
- See the organizations and websites you belong to
- Add a website after you confirm the domain
- Check setup, billing status and site health
- Open the billing, ad-account and install pages for you
Only you can:
- Choose a plan and approve checkout
- Copy the Pixel ID, token or conversion IDs from each ad platform
- Paste them into the integration page
- Enter card details, which never reach the agent
MCP does not install anything on your website. It does not build or host the site, publish a GTM container or get into your hosting account. The site still needs its tracking installation: verify DNS, connect the integration and add the snippets.
How do I connect my agent?
Run one command, then click Allow in the browser. The first time the agent needs Crisper, it opens Crisper sign-in. You sign in with your Crisper account and allow the agent to read your basic profile and email. There's no access request and no waiting for approval.
Claude Code
- Connect
- Run
claude mcp add --transport http crisper https://crisper.io/api/mcpin your project's terminal. Start Claude Code and ask it to set up your website in Crisper; it opens sign-in.
Codex
- Connect
- Run
codex mcp add crisper --url https://crisper.io/api/mcp. Codex opens sign-in right away. Then start a new Codex session.
Cursor
- Connect
- Add a
crisperentry with the URLhttps://crisper.io/api/mcpto.cursor/mcp.json, then click Connect on crisper under Cursor Settings, MCP.
The Crisper MCP setup page has the copy-ready command for each agent, plus steps for Google Antigravity, ChatGPT and Replit Agent. Those three follow their own MCP documentation and haven't been tested with Crisper yet. Most agents load tools when a session starts, so start a new session after you click Allow.
If Codex shows invalid_scope, run codex mcp login crisper --scopes profile,email,offline_access. Never paste an access token into chat.
Where do I approve access and billing?
Access follows your organization. One sign-in reaches every Crisper organization you belong to. If you have several, the agent asks which one to use. Links it opens later go straight to that site's organization in your browser.
- Ask the agent to set up your website. It asks for the domain and platform, confirms them with you, then adds the site.
- Open the billing page it links, choose a plan and approve checkout. The trial terms show before you pay.
- Open the integration page it links and paste the values from the ad platform: Pixel ID and CAPI token for Meta, Measurement ID and API secret for GA4, Conversion ID and labels for Google Ads.
- Go back to the agent and ask it to check setup. It picks up from the first step that isn't done.
If billing still shows pending, wait for the verified subscription status. Don't start a second subscription. If a clinic client will pay instead of you, send them a client pay link from the dashboard. A sent link doesn't mean the subscription is active.
To remove access, remove the connection in your agent, for example claude mcp remove crisper or codex mcp remove crisper. An organization admin can also remove a person from the organization, which stops their agent on its next request.
What does the repository skill do?
The Crisper skill file tells a coding agent the setup order and the rules: confirm before writing, never ask for passwords or payment details, and resume rather than start over. It helps the agent pick up setup in a later session.
You don't need it to connect. If you'd rather paste a prompt, the setup page has one that saves the connection and the skill in one go. You can also run the installer yourself. It stores no credentials, and it never overwrites a different existing connection or skill. Read it before you run it.
How do I know setup finished?
Ask the agent to check the site's setup after each browser step. It reports what's still open: billing, DNS, the integration or the tracking snippets. A finished sign-in or a checkout redirect is a step, not the end of setup.
Once the snippets are installed, check the events in Meta's Events Manager. Purchases and leads are reported separately. If a step stays pending, resume that step rather than adding the website again.
New to Crisper? Start your 7-day trial for your first domain. Your agent can add the website and open billing; you verify DNS, connect the integration and install the snippets. A payment method is required, with one trial per domain and 7 days to cancel. 30-day money-back guarantee. We keep working with you until it is fixed.
