Implementation recovery
Yatra Kundalini Activation (FR): conversions started counting again
After Meta flagged the domain for religious/spiritual content, purchase conversions stopped appearing in Events Manager, halting optimization and crushing ROAS. We rebuilt tracking with server-side Google Tag Manager and Meta Conversion API, re-established first‑party data collection, restored purchase tracking in a few days, and helped ROAS recover above 2 within two weeks.
What was broken
- Domain flagged for religious/spiritual content, suppressing Meta purchase signals.
- Three months of missing conversions prevented delivery optimization and learning.
- Privacy features and tracking prevention reduced client-side event reliability.
- Support-directed fixes (new pixels/domains, wording changes) failed to restore tracking.
- Attribution gaps and inability to trust reported performance.
What we rebuilt
- 01Deployed server-side tracking with first‑party subdomain to bypass client-side blockers.
- 02Implemented Meta CAPI with robust event IDs, value/currency, and hashed user data for higher match quality.
- 03Recreated fbp/fbc and captured click IDs for better attribution; set up event dedup with any client-side signals.
- 04Integrated consent and bot filtering; routed GA4 via server for consistency and quality control.
- 05Built monitoring in Looker Studio and provided a clear runbook for the media buyer.

What started working again
- Recovered 74,795 requests from tracking prevention over 30 days (20.31%); 10.40% from ad blockers in this period.
- Purchase events reappeared in Events Manager within a few days, enabling optimization to resume.
- ROAS stabilized near 1.0 in week one post‑fix and rose above 2.0 within two weeks.
- High consent opt‑in rates (≈94–96%) across key events with bot traffic reduced to ~2–4%.
- Improved event match quality and data completeness for PageView, View Content, AddToCart, Checkout, and Purchase.
“My domain was flagged by Meta for spirituality and conversions stopped, so we couldn't optimize. I tried everything with support and was out of solutions. Shazada jumped in and within a few days purchase tracking came back in Events Manager. My ROAS recovered and we could manage ads like before. He’s super fast, responsive, and talented—I highly recommend Tracking Academy.”
