Sanéo France sold posture and back-pain products through a Shopify store. In early 2025, Meta classed its products as health products, and purchases stopped reaching Meta. A new pixel did not help.

The store was classed as health products

Sanéo France sold a posture corrector, a lumbar belt, a foot massager and a lumbar cushion to French customers. Jeremy Talote ran the store and its ads on Meta and Google.

In early 2025, Meta categorized the store's products as health products and restricted the domain. Add-to-cart, checkout and purchase events stopped reaching Meta. Only page views and product views still came through.

With no purchases coming back, the ads had nothing to optimize toward.

What he tried first

He made a new pixel. It worked for a short while, then it was restricted too.

He paused most of his Meta spend and ran Google Ads instead.

The new pixel failed for the same reason the old one had: Meta's restriction sits on the domain, not on the pixel.

What changed

In February 2025 he hired Shahzada, now Crisper's founder, on Upwork. From 26 February, purchases went from the server to the store's existing pixels through Meta's Conversions API, with the restricted product details left out.

In April 2025, tracking moved to the store's own subdomain, and Shopify's order data filled in purchases that browsers had missed.

Between 25 May and about 20 June 2025, Events Manager logged 260 purchases through the Conversions API, with an event match quality of 8.3 out of 10.

The store is no longer online.

Facts come from the Upwork project thread and the founder's 2025 recording. Figures are read off an Events Manager screenshot; the Ads Manager screenshot is undated. Jeremy left no review. Recovered in 2025 by Shahzada Ali Hassan, Crisper's founder, with a custom server-side setup, before the Crisper app existed.
