Lead magnet
Restriction risk score
Quick worksheet: how likely Meta stops counting Lead / Schedule on this niche + setup.
First diagnose when they cannot name Core Setup
What this scores
Will Facebook stop counting your leads — or has it already?
This worksheet estimates how likely Meta data sharing restrictions are eating Lead / Schedule on a lead-gen site. It is not a medical diagnosis and not a Meta API readout. It is a call-pad so clinics and agencies stop guessing from vibes.
Official orientation lives in Meta’s help on data sharing restrictions by source category. Practitioners describe the wound in plainer words: flagged in a health category, conversions blocked, Ads Manager stuck at zero while the front desk stays busy.

0/13 · Low
Low risk. Still paste the site into Tracking Audit if Events Manager feels off. Restriction language can show up later.
Score each row (pick one column)
| Question | Low (0ish) | Mid | High | Pts |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Vertical / offer | Unrestricted B2B SaaS, local retail with no health/finance framing | Coaching, spirituality, insurance lead-gen, credit, wellness | Dental, medical / clinic, rehab, health-adjacent lead forms | 0 / 1 / 2 |
| What Events Manager shows today | Lead / Schedule fire and optimize normally | Some events thin; Core Setup notice or stripped params | 0 Lead / Schedule while phone or forms still move | 0 / 2 / 3 |
| Meta UI language you have seen | None | “Data sharing restrictions applied,” “Your data is restricted,” Core Setup | “Restricted event… suppressed,” standard events blocked, full-domain style limit | 0 / 2 / 3 |
| Failed resets already tried | None | New pixel or new ad account once | New pixel + account and/or domain — still empty | 0 / 1 / 2 |
| Spend status | Ads paused; diagnosis only | Spend live under $3k/mo Meta | Spend live and learning is dead / flying blind | 0 / 1 / 2 |
Add the points you circled. Max is 12. Write the total on the call notes and keep the Events Manager screenshot next to it.
How to read the total
| Total | Meaning | Next move |
|---|---|---|
| 0–3 | Unlikely restriction drama right now — or ads are not the story. | Do not sell Recovery as theater. Fix normal tracking hygiene first. |
| 4–7 | Elevated risk or early Core Setup / thin events. | Run Tracking Audit. Read data source category. |
| 8–12 | Already hit or about to feel blind spend. | Name the enemy with the restriction explainer. Then trial, pay link, or Book a Call. |
Clinic dialect (owner-safe)
Facebook can still charge your ads while it stops counting the leads and bookings those ads create. That is usually a restriction on how your website may share conversion data — not proof your offer died.
If you already changed the pixel, the ad account, or even the domain and Meta is still empty, score yourself in the high column for resets. The limit often rides the domain, which is why another cash-register brand on the same storefront fails.
Agency dialect (call pad)
- Confirm whether Lead / Schedule (or CompleteRegistration) are usable for optimization — not merely “pixel installed.”
- Capture exact Events Manager strings: Core Setup, restricted event suppressed, request a review, Manage Data Source Categories.
- Note niche messaging that Meta may treat as health / wellness / finance-sensitive even when the brand is “just dental marketing.”
- Dollarize blind days: daily Meta spend × days with empty conversions. Compare to Recovery list ($297/mo) without inventing ROAS %.
What this is not
Not a promise Meta will restrict you. Not an appeal worksheet (that is appeals prep). Not a backup-domain plan. Not ecommerce purchase-attribution scoring.
Do not say
- “You’re banned from advertising” — ads often stay approved while events die
- Invented risk % or EMQ lifts — worksheet only; Events Manager is truth
- Bypass / backup-domain as the “score fix” — out of scope
Next step
Start Recovery when the path is clear. Book a Call when restriction depth is messy. Agencies: send the client pay link so the clinic funds Stripe while you keep the org.
